The Indiana Fever just made a move that has both Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull hyped.
On Monday, the team announced that player development coach Rob Dosier would be joining the Fever’s staff — a signing many believe could make a real impact heading into next season. Dosier will work alongside Keith Porter as the franchise doubles down on helping its young core continue to grow.

Clark didn’t waste any time giving her stamp of approval. She posted a quick shoutout on her Instagram story welcoming Dosier to the team. Hull, even as an unrestricted free agent, also shared her excitement online — a good sign that his arrival is resonating with players, whether they’re under contract or not.
Dosier isn’t new to big names either. He’s trained some of the league’s biggest stars — Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, and Bradley Beal, among others. On the coaching side, he’s worked with the Illinois Bears and later joined the Capital City Go-Go, the G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards.
For a team that already made noise by reaching the WNBA semifinals, Dosier’s presence could be what helps the Fever take the next step. His experience fits perfectly with Indiana’s plan to build around Clark and the team’s rising stars.
“I know I’ll always show up for them”: Caitlin Clark on supporting the Fever through injury struggles
Injuries hit the Fever hard this year. Clark missed time with a groin issue, and the list didn’t stop there — Chloe Bibby, Aari McDonald, Sydney Colson, and Sophie Cunningham all spent time on the sideline.

Even when she couldn’t play, Clark made sure her voice was still heard.
“Probably the biggest lesson I learned is just how can I show up every single day and pour into them and be there for them,” Clark said. “If I have a teammate that’s injured or hurt or going through a tough moment, I know I’ll always show up for them and be there for them and check in on them because it is incredibly isolating and you don’t realize that until you go through it.”
Her teammate Aliyah Boston echoed the same mindset:
“When one person goes down, we say it all the time, the next woman stands up.”
