Caitlin Clark is not one to forget old and true friends, even if they may not be in the same circle anymore. Clark recently wished her former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate Monika Czinano for her birthday, calling back to their three seasons together with the team.

While Clark managed to step foot into the W after her time with Iowa, the same didn’t happen for Czinano. Instead, life took a pretty different path for the talented hooper after she shocked the entire world by announcing her retirement from the game. Instead of going on to become a legend on the court, Czinano decided to become a doctor.

“Happy Bday to the mikan goat throwback to our prime together (smirking emoji, red heart emoji)” Caitlin Clark captioned her Instagram post.

“love you,” Clark added in the same post.

Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark is truly the embodiment of rest and recovery this offseason. The Indiana icon has been doing nothing but chilling and resting ever since the campaign came to an end, in preparation for the upcoming campaign.

Most recently, Clark was spotted hanging out in the Bahamas with her parents when a staunch fan saw her. Clark’s birthday is coming up in a few days, and it looks like she wants to ring in her new year on the islands with her family.

On another note, Caitlin Clark recently shared a clip of herself throwing a football, which has got everyone talking. Clark throws a football with incredible power and accuracy, which many fans feel is an undeniable trait of a great quarterback.

Clark can be seen making the pass pretty effortlessly on a basketball court, and it looks like the hooper has been working on her throwing this offseason. Clark has not been sharing many updates about her training, but her upper body strength is something that she definitely needs to work on, considering her most recent season.

Clark was benched for most of the campaign, making her sophomore season a sore letdown for her fans. However, the Fever star seems more than ready to take on the upcoming campaign and is looking a lot more muscular than before. Clark is clearly putting in hard work day after day as she aims to top her stats from her rookie season.
