Caitlin Clark echoed the sentiments of many when she tweeted out against refs in the recent Iowa vs. Fairfield game for giving Taylor Stremlow a technical foul. Stremlow can be seen quickly flexing opponent Janelle Brown from scoring after officials blew the whistle.
Not just Stremlow, but everyone in the audience including the head coach herself can be seen reacting flabbergasted at the decision. Clark, who is continuing to be a loyal Iowa alumnus, called out the decision on her X account.

“No way they just gave stremlow a tech for that (rolling on the floor laughing x3) refs have to let the girls show emotion” Caitlin Clark tweeted.

Caitlin Clark herself has been known to often flex at her opponents after showing off on the court. Many fans who reacted to her tweet highlighted the double standards in the game, especially since male players are often encouraged to show emotion on the court.
“Many instances of guys showing emotions not getting T’ed up. Double standard fr.” one fan pointed out.
“Refs let you get pushed to the ground, tripped and refuse to call a T! We need better refs in women’s basketball! (basketball emoji)” another fan said.
“LOL if they called it that way when you were there you would have had 8000 techs in college BabyGOAT” one more fan noted.

Despite Stremlow going through a rough moment in the game, Caitlin Clark’s Hawkeyes managed to seal a juicy win. Iowa has won eight games in a row right now and are eager to add more pretty soon.
Caitlin Clark-less Poster Gets Fans Trolling USA Basketball
Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark fans went bonkers a few days back when USA Basketball released a poster of their new training camp, without her picture on it. While Clark was indeed mentioned by name, her picture was not displayed in the poster, which instead had other players like Kelsey Plum and Kahleah Copper.
Fans and several analysts stormed with reactions on social media, with many calling the USA Basketball unit out for leaving behind her picture when they printed out the posters. Clark is considered to be a game-changing phenomenon in the W right now, with many feeling that it is solely because of her that the game has started to get more traction. However, other fans quickly pointed out that the other players in the poster were part of the gold-medal-winning team last year.
