Caitlin Clark couldn’t hide her pride after Indiana Fever teammate Damiris Dantas celebrated a milestone few players ever reach. The veteran forward — who just wrapped up her two-year run with the Fever — marked her 15th anniversary as a Nike athlete, a partnership she’s held since she was a teenager.
Dantas shared photos of the special package Nike sent her to commemorate the moment, posting them on Instagram along with a long message about what the past decade and a half has meant. Clark quickly jumped in the comments to show some love, simply writing, “So proud of u,” as a nod to her teammate’s journey.

Dantas, now an unrestricted free agent heading into next season, looked back on the day she signed with Nike at age 17 and how little she understood about what was ahead.
“I couldn’t imagine conquering so much, let alone being a part of a family as special as Nike has in my life,” she wrote in Portuguese.
She added, “I look back and see that every step was worth it. Every practice, every fall, every beginning, every doubt and every victory. Sport changed my life and today I’m living proof that when there is care, investment and opportunity, a harvest comes.”
While she played a reserve role for the Fever, Dantas quietly delivered what the team needed from her. Across her two seasons in Indiana, she averaged 4.6 points and 2.3 rebounds, appearing in all 58 of her games off the bench since returning in 2024.
“Exactly the way she wants it before we launch it”: Caitlin Clark’s signature shoe getting fine-tuned
Caitlin Clark, who has already become one of Nike’s fastest-rising stars, is on track to release her own signature sneaker line — something WNBA fans have been waiting on since she entered the league. She announced in August that she had officially become a Nike signature athlete and introduced her “CC” personal logo.

As the year winds down, anticipation has picked up again. In a November 15 interview with the Wall Street Journal, Nike CEO Elliot Hill was asked directly about the status of Clark’s shoe. His response erased any doubt.
“That shoe’s coming,” Hill said (via Sports Illustrated).
He added that Nike wants “everything from her logo to the product exactly the way she wants it before we launch it.”
Coming off her No. 1 selection in the 2025 WNBA Draft, Clark secured a long-term Nike deal reportedly worth $28 million — the largest sponsorship ever given to a women’s basketball player.
