Sydney Colson is back. And she is returning to the public life as she lights up her Instagram, offering fans a behind-the-scenes peek at her recovery. But she wasn’t alone as Caitlin Clark popped in to add a little feverish humor to the feed.

Colson’s live video featured her adjusting the camera, and that’s when Clark chimed in—with a tease.

“Hey babes take ur finger off the camera,” she wrote, clearly enjoying the moment.

The playful jab quickly made the rounds among fans, celebrating the rookie’s clowning side—even while she’s sidelined. It was a light touch in a season that’s been anything but easy for the Fever. Injuries have riddled the rotation, with both Clark and Colson already sitting out due to health issues.

Caitlin Clark has been held out with a groin injury, while Colson’s season-ending ACL surgery dropped her from the lineup. Their joke-filled exchange reminded fans that even in recovery, team chemistry continues—humor intact.

Those sorts of locker-room moments—public or private—go a long way. They keep morale grounded, remind teammates (and fans) why they root for these players beyond points and assists. And for Caitlin Clark, keeping that connection—even when she’s not playing—shows just how much she cares about the vibe as much as the victory.

Moments like these keeps the team relatable and enjoyable to those who follow.

Sophie Cunningham Update After Knee Injury, Praises Bria Hartley

Another injury has dealt the Indiana Fever a blow, but the response has been one of class and clarity. Sophie Cunningham confirmed her season is over after sustaining an MCL tear during a collision with Connecticut Sun’s Bria Hartley.

Despite criticism that followed, including from her own mother, Cunningham insisted to her podcast audience that Hartley had no harmful intent.

“I know Bria, and I’m actually really good friends with Bria … I don’t think there was ill intent. I think it was a basketball play … I have nothing but love for Bria.”

The team quickly signed guard Shey Peddy to a hardship deal in response, underscoring how tight Indiana’s roster has become. Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark remains out as well, still recovering from a groin injury with no clear return date.

It’s a reminder that beyond the legalism of injury reports, there’s humanity. Cunningham’s forgiveness cooled the noise and highlighted that even amid pain, players can rise in empathy. That perspective sets a tone—one where player relationships matter as much as the outcome at the buzzer.
