Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever star, couldn’t help but share her excitement after being a part of the internet-breaking reveal of Taylor Swift’s surprise guesting on Wednesday’s episode of the podcast “New Heights.” The trend became so viral that the show gained millions of views in just hours.

The episode, made available on YouTube, shows Swift along with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason. In fact, it became the most viewed video, with 8.6 million views in half a day. Half a day. Here, Swift took the time to share what her recent The Eras Tour concert meant to her, as well as revealing more of her life as a showgirl and a music icon.

Fans, including Caitlin Clark, deeply loved the special episode, witnessing Swift’s genuine moments for the first time. On X (once Twitter), Clark, a diehard “Swiftie,” let her hype spill, making sure everyone felt the buzz.

“Swifties so powerful we broke the internet,” Clark wrote, commenting her last post, tweeting, “Are we sure YouTube isn’t going to crash tonight?”</

Are we sure YouTube isn’t going to crash tonight? 😅

Caitlin Clark’s witty joke referred to when the New Heights’ live episode suddenly went dark. While the internet glitch was fixed minutes later, fans knew that the stream was undeniably dazzled by the number of viewers.

Speaking about Clark, she isn’t just a normal “Swiftie,” but a very lucky one. Beyond attending Swift’s concert in Indianapolis last February, Clark has dapped her up in person more than once. Adding to the connection, both are Kansas City Chiefs fans—home to Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce—and even caught the last Super Bowl together in February.

Indiana HC shares valuable Caitlin Clark update amidst injury

While Caitlin Clark‘s feelings on Swift’s appearance at the latest New Heights episode were undeniable, fans couldn’t help but voice out their disappointments about the Indiana Fever star. After all, she remains sidelined due to her groin injury. As today’s WNBA season rages on, Clark remains nearly irrelevant, with news about her being plainly off the court.

Speaking on Monday, Clark’s coach, Stephanie White, provided news about the star guard. Here’s what she has to say:

“She [Clark] hasn’t returned to practice yet, but she’s gone from minimal work to full-court running at full body weight, steadily building endurance and movement on the court,” White said via Chloe Peterson.

“She’s been able to do a little bit more on the court in terms of how she moves, but not into practice yet.”

Caitlin Clark has not yet returned to practice, Stephanie White says.

With hopes of Caitlin Clark returning soon, White and the Fever have no choice but to continue. Their next target: the Washington Mystics on Sunday.
