Caitlin Clark gave an honest suggestion about where the Dallas Wings should play their home games, as they are expected to draft UConn star Paige Bueckers for the 2025 season.

As part of her live commentary during the NCAA women’s basketball finals, Caitlin Clark talked about UConn star Paige Bueckers and her impact on viewership and crowd pull, something she thinks the Dallas Wings should take full advantage of.

According to Clark, the Dallas Wingts ought to consider moving their home games to the American Airlines Arena.

“That arena is fun to play in too,” Clark said. “It’s a small place, it’s loud. They should move every game to American Airlines because I think Paige [Bueckers] has that type of draw. I know we’re playing there one of our games. We would appreciate that Dallas Wings if you could move the other one.”

The Dallas Wings typically play their home games at the College Park Center, located on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington. This venue has a seating capacity of approximately 7,000.

In comparison, the American Airlines Center, home to the Dallas Mavericks (NBA) and Dallas Stars (NHL), is significantly larger. It can accommodate up to 19,200 spectators for basketball games and even more for concerts and other events. This makes the American Airlines Center nearly three times the size of the College Park Center in terms of seating capacity.

Caitlin Clark’s suggestion for the Dallas Wings to use a larger venue like the American Airlines Center for Paige Bueckers’ arrival makes sense due to the immense popularity and fan demand surrounding both players. Clark herself has already demonstrated her ability to draw large crowds, leading to several WNBA teams moving games to bigger arenas to accommodate her fanbase.

Caitlin Clark Gives Off WNBA Warning: “Watch Out”

In the same live commentary, Caitlin Clark also gave a simple “teaser” of the kind of plays people can expect from her for the 2025 WNBA season.

“That’s gonna be me this year,” she said, after witnessing a full-court play during the game. “Picking up full-court, guys. Yeah, watch out.”

A full-court play in basketball is significant because it maximizes the use of the entire court, often capitalizing on speed, precision, and teamwork. It typically involves rapidly advancing the ball from the defensive end to the offensive end, either through passing or dribbling, often aiming for a quick score or a fast break.

As a point guard for the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark is the best player to utilize and take advantage of full-court plays.
