“CC And PB Are In Different Solar Systems”: Caitlin Clark Outshines Paige Bueckers As Christine Brennan Slams Wings Rookie’s Arena Draw

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark gets the upper hand in terms of power to pull in the crowd and fill up arenas in games, at least that is what one sports journalist made clear in a recent social media exchange.

Fever star Caitlin Clark has always been known to be able to pull in crowds and fill up large arenas, so much so that the Indiana Fever has moved to a larger place due to high ticket sales and audience turnout in games where Clark plays. This, for Sports journalist Christine Brennan, is not something that 2025 overall #1 pick Paige Bueckers has.

“Perhaps the most interesting statistic of all,” Brennan said in her post. “We know CC draws record crowds in Indy (17K+) and games are moved to big arenas only for her in 2024 and 2025. Paige Bueckers cannot sell out a 7,000-seat arena in Dallas. In this way, CC and PB are in different solar systems.”

Perhaps the most interesting statistic of all:

Paige Bueckers cannot sell out a 7,000-seat arena in Dallas.

In this way, CC and PB are in different solar systems. https://t.co/RGDJkJegZ0

The analysis came as a response to a fan calling out Brennan’s lack of comment following Paige Buecker’s game-after-game of milestone achievements. Despite the Dallas Wings struggling this season as a team. Bueckers remains a dominating rookie, with stat lines that serve to prove it.

Caitlin Clark Officially Gets Her Signature Shoe

Caitlin Clark has officially joined Nike’s elite roster of signature athletes, marking a major milestone in her young WNBA career. The Indiana Fever star will debut her first signature shoe and apparel collection next year, complete with a newly unveiled logo featuring interlocking “C”s. Nike will roll out the logo collection on October 1, with an early release of a Fever-themed T-shirt in yellow and navy set for September.

“Nike’s signature roster features all-time greats, and I am incredibly proud to join some of the best athletes in the world,” Clark said in a statement. “I’m excited to share a first look at what we’ve started to create together.”

The announcement comes during a challenging second season for Clark, who has missed 24 games, including the last 15, due to a right groin strain. Despite her absence from the court since mid-July, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year remains a central figure in the league’s growth.

Clark becomes just the third WNBA player to secure a Nike signature deal, joining A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu. The move follows Nike’s June release of Kobe Bryant’s signature sneakers in Fever colors, a drop that sold out almost instantly.

With Caitlin Clark’s signature line on the horizon, Nike is betting on her continued cultural and commercial pull, positioning her not only as a franchise cornerstone in Indiana but also as a defining face of women’s basketball’s next era.
