Despite battling injuries for most of the year, Caitlin Clark kept her focus on the Indiana Fever’s surprising playoff run that ended in the 2025 WNBA semifinals. Clark wasn’t alone on the sidelines — Sophie Cunningham, Aari McDonald, Chloe Bibby, and Sydney Colson were also sidelined — but she stayed invested in what turned out to be one of the Fever’s most memorable seasons.
During an appearance on teammate Aerial Powers’ vlog on YouTube, Clark was asked what moments this year stood out the most to her — and what made her proudest.

“I don’t think anything necessarily surprised me just because I know the type of people that we’ve had in this locker room over the course of the two years,” Clark said. “Obviously, there was some changeover from year one to year two, but you know the core of this group and what this organization is about has always been the same.”
She continued,
“Every player that’s come in, and you especially, like you’ve made it so fun, and we’ve loved having you. Obviously, not everybody can stay cause we had 17 people on our team. So, no matter who it is, you cherish those memories you got to spend with each other.”

As of now, the Fever have only Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Makayla Timpson officially under contract for next season. With the CBA negotiations still underway, the question remains whether the league will expand roster spots for 2026 — something that could reshape the Fever’s depth chart moving forward.
From Fan to Friend: Caitlin Clark Joins Taylor Swift in Chiefs Suite
Over the weekend, Caitlin Clark made headlines off the court when she was spotted hanging out with Taylor Swift — fiancée of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce — at Arrowhead Stadium.

The two were seen together in the Kelce family suite during the Chiefs’ game against the Detroit Lions, enjoying the afternoon with family and friends.
ForClark, the moment hit close to home. Growing up in Iowa, the Chiefs were her go-to NFL team, and she’s long been open about being a huge Swiftie before her friendship with the global pop star blossomed.
With both women in attendance, the Chiefs clawed their way back to a 3–3 record, trying to find momentum again under head coach Andy Reid.
