Even though Caitlin Clark is stuck on the sidelines with a groin injury, she hasn’t stopped being the heart of the Indiana Fever. If anything, she’s been louder than ever—pumping up her teammates and firing up the crowd when the games get tense.
On Thursday, Clark had plenty to scream about as Indiana pulled off one of the biggest playoff shocks in years, sending the Atlanta Dream home and moving on to the semifinals. She couldn’t hide her pride after the final buzzer, celebrating her squad’s fight without her and Sophie Cunningham on the floor.

“FEVVVVVVV SHOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! [six heart emojis] @IndianaFever,” she blasted on X right after the game.
FEVVVVVVV SHOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ @IndianaFever

It’s been that kind of season for the Fever—key players missing, doubts from fans, but a roster that just keeps finding ways to hang around.
Caitlin Clark’s Sneakers Turn Into a Lucky Charm
If the Fever are superstitious, blame Caitlin Clark’s sneakers.
Indiana’s social team leaned all the way into it after the upset, posting a clip zoomed in on Clark’s all-black Nike Air Force 1s, joking that the kicks were their good-luck charm.

The running gag started before Game 2 when she walked into Gainbridge rocking the same pair. “Black forces? She means business,” Boston quipped. Sure enough, the Fever won at home to even the series. Clark wore them again in Atlanta, and once again, Indiana got the W.
She may not be scoring or dishing assists right now, but Clark’s presence—and even her shoes—have become part of the Fever’s playoff magic.
