Caitlin Clark is about to trade her sneakers for spikes. The Indiana Fever guard will head back to the greens this November, making her second straight appearance at LPGA’s The Annika — a tournament that’s quickly becoming her favorite offseason escape.
Clark isn’t new to the stage. She teed it up last year beside legends Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, and clearly loved every minute of it.

“I had an amazing time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game,” Clark said.
She added, “I’m honored to be an ambassador for a company in Gainbridge that is so committed to elevating women’s sports. I can’t wait to return to Tampa in November to play in the pro-am with the best women golfers in the world.”
This year’s event tees off on November 12 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida — and yes, fans can actually show up to watch.
For Clark, it’s a breather after a rocky sophomore campaign. A lingering groin injury slowed her down and limited her to just 13 games, though she still managed 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per outing. Even without her at full strength, the Fever clawed their way to the WNBA semifinals, pushing the eventual champs — the Las Vegas Aces — to a gritty five-game series.
“It taught me how to be a really good leader” Caitlin Clark ponders on the lessons learned from the sideline
Injuries kept her off the floor, but they didn’t keep her out of the mix. Caitlin Clark used that time to study, connect, and lead in ways she hadn’t before.

“There [were] certainly some hard days,” she admitted. “I think it taught [me] how to be a really good leader, how to be a really good teammate and how to empathize [with] your teammates in certain situations. When you are in the heat of battle, your emotions are high and you feel things differently … When you’re on the sidelines and you don’t have a jersey on, you can observe and really watch people and learn about people.”

It’s easy to forget — before this season, she’d never missed a single game. From Iowa’s record-breaking run to her rookie year, she was always in the lineup. Sitting out forced her to slow down, to see the game differently.
Now, with the offseason here, Clark’s ready to reset. A few holes in Florida, a clean bill of health, and a fresh start for 2026 — looks like she’s lining up her next big shot, both on the court and on the course.
