Caitlin Clark’s picture did not appear in the promotional poster of USA Basketball’s women’s national team training camp, and one journalist is super cheesed about this. Christine Brennan took to X to put out two tweets on how USA basketball is really goofing up by not including Clark’s picture in their poster, which was bound to bring them plenty of attention.

The poster announced that a number of players are included in the roster, including strong rivals – Clark and Angel Reese. However, Clark’s picture was visibly absent from the poster which only showed off Kelsey Plum, Kahleah Copper and Jackie Young.

“This is so interesting: if USA Basketball really wanted to go all out promoting WBB, bring new fans in, and get unprecedented attention for a team that dropped in TV viewership at the Paris Olympics, they would have added the photo of one other player to this graphic. But no,” Christine Brennan tweeted.

“I’ve covered the Olympics and US sports national governing bodies (NGBs) for 40+ yrs and plan to be covering them for many more. An NGB’s mission is to win medals but also grow its sport. USA Basketball utterly failed to grow WBB at the 2024 Olympics. This is a continuing story.” Brennan added in another tweet.

Caitlin Clark’s picture was perhaps not included in the poster perhaps because the talented player was not featured in the gold-medal winning team last time out. On the other hand, all the three ladies who were spotted in the poster were part of the team that made the country proud last year.

Caitlin Clark Was The Reason Behind Steph Curry Cutting Ties With Under Armour

On another note, Caitlin Clark made news among NBA fans when it was rumored that Steph Curry ended his partnership with Under Armour because of her. Curry was recently spotted wearing Nikes at a Jazz game after more than a decade. Curry is no longer promoting Under Armour as a brand, and reports are that the player was peeved when they did not consider Caitlin Clark, whom he recommended.

This is not exactly confirmed but it is clear that Curry wants nothing to do with the brand or their shoes. Some reports also statethat  the baller and his team of advisors were not happy with the way that the sales of the shoes were doing and thus, decided to split up.
