“Time To Get Her Ready”: Caitlin Clark Urged to Return Fast As Jason Whitlock Slams Fever’s Struggles In Mercury Rout

Caitlin Clark‘s absence has certainly cost the Indiana Fever. Their recent outing against the Phoenix Mercury was nothing but a disaster. The Fever lost by a huge margin of 35 points after settling for a 95-60 final score. Clarke has had the longest absence in her career, and she’s eagerly waiting to get back on court. However, her groin injury has pushed her back, and it’s taking a while.

The Fever will not want to risk hurting their superstar further by pushing her back soon. Yet, they seem to be struggling with her. At present, there is no set timetable for Caitlin Clark’s return. She’s been out since July 15 and is expected to miss many more games. The team must focus on playing without Clark for a while. Winning is surely going to be a challenge, and Jason Whitlock thinks it’s time to get her ready to play.

The columnist reflected on their last loss, calling it brutal, and he urged Caitlin Clark to return soon.

“Fever have done all they can do without Clark. Time to get her ready to play. It was a nice run. It’s turning brutal,” Jason Whitlock wrote.

Whitlock is probably right, but Clark has to recover fully before getting into action. The Indiana Fever is eager to have a strong season, and they must save Clark when they need her the most.

Indiana Fever Gets More Bad News On Caitlin Clark’s Progress

Clark missed his ninth straight game already, and it turns out that she could miss many more. The Fever guard has been shifted from day to day, but there has been no promise on her progress.

According to Stephanie White, there is no update on Clark, which means she could miss more games. Perhaps the Indiana Fever are saving Clark for all the tough games.

“No updates on Caitlin at this point,” White said.

While it’s certainly bad news for Indiana Fever fans and the team overall, her absence also gave the opportunity for other players to perform. Sophie Cunningham, Lexie Hull, and Aliyah Boston have picked up the pace for the team.

It’s been a long and dry season for Caitlin Clark after missing out on several games. The Indiana Fever has also reduced its playoff chances without Clark in the lineup. Fans are eagerly waiting for her to get back on the court and show her skills.
