Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and her impact on the sports were once again explored, as recent numbers for the most-watched college sports games for 2025 were released, and showed that Clark’s time in Iowa remained undefeated in terms of the number of viewership.
In a post on X, author and sports journalist Christine Brennan shared an infographic that showed the most-viewed games on college football for the 2025 season. At the top of the list was a game between Ohio State and Michigan, which attracted a total of 128.4 million viewers. In her post, Brennan compared the game to Clark’s iconic Iowa game.

“College FB is huge,” Brennan said. “Look at these numbers. Then consider that Caitlin Clark drew 18.9M for her final NCAA game. No wonder she is the biggest thing to hit the WNBA, why shows constantly talk about her, why even a book could be written about all of it.”

In a separate post, Brenan once more highlighted how the numbers proved how Clark has elevated the interest and respect of fans towards women’s basketball, as she brought eyes to the games like no one ever did before.
“Viewership is in for the 2025 CFB conf. championship games,” she continued on another post. “Big Ten: 18.33M. SEC: 16.9M. Indiana-OSU was in prime time. Clark played on a Sunday afternoon and attracted 18.9M viewers. These numbers, this interest, and this respect for WBB were unthinkable until she showed up.”

Clark may not have won the NCAA championship, but her rise in popularity led her to be the No.1 pick for the 2024 WNBA draft.
Caitlin Clark Gets Honest Take From WNBA Legend Prior to Team USA Camp
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is set to rejoin the court this weekend at a USA Basketball Women’s National Team training camp in Durham, North Carolina. One of the WNBA big shots who will join the camp included Sue Bird, who praised Clark for her “maturity.”

“I can really only imagine for a player like Caitlin, you come straight off your college season, epic, you go straight to your WNBA season, you finish a first-teamer,” Bird said. “You have this long off-season where you probably can’t wait to get back on the court, only to have a couple of injuries. I thought what was the most impressive was the way she stayed engaged. So I think that really shows her maturity.”
Aside from Caitlin Clark, Fever teammate Aliyah Boston and Fever head coach Stephanie White will also join the camp, among other names.
