Sacramento Kings guard Dennis Schroder had engaged in a full-blown brawl with Luka Doncic nearly 40 minutes after the final buzzer on December 28. NBA slapped him with a three-game suspension for attempting to strike Lakers’ shooter in the hallway.

Things appeared to cool off as the game ended after the two jawed at each other throughout the Kings’ 125-101 loss. Now, a new report regarding the tunnel fight has shared some eye-popping information.
Shocking Tunnel Drama Erupts Between Luka Dončić and Dennis Schröder
Schröder told Luka that he can’t “call him a b—-” on the court and pretend everything is fine off the court. The Kings guard hunted down Doncic to settle their beef from the game, where the Lakers star had repeatedly taunted him about turning down a four-year, $82 million extension from LA back in 2021.
During a timeout in the game, Doncic told Schröder he “should’ve signed that contract.” Quite frankly, it was a very personal jab since after that rejection, he never got such an 80 million offer. Right now, his current deal is worth under $50 million.
“Lakers center Deandre Ayton intervened to pull Schröder away from the altercation while a stunned Doncic tried to exit as security moved in. Schroder was eventually escorted to the team bus while Kings coach Doug Christie and several teammates sought answers about the sudden chaos,” the report claimed.

It also claimed that Doncic and his father, Saša, eventually made their way to their car and left, as Schröder and his Kings teammates prepared to depart on the bus.
The confrontation caught everyone off guard. Dončić looked completely stunned when Schröder came at him in the tunnel. Security had to escort the Kings guard to the team bus while Doug Christie and Sacramento players demanded answers about what just went down.
According to social media lip-readers, their trash talk reveals a one-sided beef that left Luka chill while Schröder went nuclear.
An alleged transcript lays out the sequence, with Doncic reportedly saying, “All talk… I wish you would swing.” Schroder, by contrast, responded harshly, saying, “Come to the back, I’m not the n—– to talk to,” followed by, “I’ll beat the sh– out of you.”

Broadcast cameras later caught that final threat during a third-quarter free throw, backing up part of the exchange. Kings head coach Doug Christie later defended Schroder, while Doncic was quoted as saying, “He’s talking too much. I love it.”
From the beginning, it looked like Christie’s player wanted Luka to escalate the beef, but Doncic kept his response short and didn’t engage. As a result, Doncic got nothing, but Schroder will be stuck on the sideline for three crucial games because he couldn’t let go of some trash talk from a game that was already over.
