Anthony Davis hasn’t been the same since his last season with the Los Angeles Lakers. He might be falling in the same trajectory as Chris Paul. That’s what NBA legend Carmelo Anthony is fearing.

The Los Angeles Clippers made headlines the other day for the wrong reasons for letting CP3 go, a few weeks after he announced that this will be his last season. He even made a post hours before the news about his farewell tour for the club that he sent to relevance.
Davis is playing splendid whenever he is available for the Mavs. This team are currently on a three-game winning streak with him posting 24.5 points, 15 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in the two out of three games he played.
Anthony believes that eventually, the Mavs center will eventually get mistreated by the league. The Hall of Fame member has the same opinion about DeMar Derozan and Russell Westbrook. This will happen because of the league itself.

“It’s about to happen to Russ, Demar DeRozan, and AD,” he said.
The next trade AD has, it’s downhill from there. The way the legends of our game gets treated is f*cked up”

AD is different from CP3 as he can still play at a high level although he is often injured. He is also constantly in trade rumors as Dallas is being rumored to be considering restructuring the team.
For now, Mavs coach Jason Kidd loves the presence of Davis. His teammates, too.

As for Westbrook, he is the one closer to CP3 in terms of treatment by NBA teams. He only found a team – the Sacramento Kings – a few days before the start of the season. He had a great stint with the Denver Nuggets but he had miserable stint with the Los Angeles Lakers and the LA Clippers that many thought he is being used as a scapegoat by these teams.
Derozan, meanwhile, is still scoring at a high rate for the Kings. However, playoffs has been hard to reach for him. He hasn’t been in the playoffs since being in Sacramento last season.
