Cleveland Cavaliers went to their Monday game against the Milwaukee Bucks as slight favorites and it looked like that in the second and third quarter when they established double digit leads. Coach Kenny Atkinson went up by 18 points in the third quarter but their visitors managed to climb back and it all because of their superstar. They eventually settled in a 113-118 scoreline, Cavs victory.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is off to a hot and dominant start in three games, affecting the games on both ends that only a few superstar can do. He posted 40 points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists. He also had two blocks and two steals. This statline put him in a one-man club.

Many thought he is an MVP candidate while others think he is being underrated with the lack of spotlight for what he is doing.
Giannis is in the midst of one of the greatest peaks I’ve ever seen. What he’s doing shouldn’t be normalized

Giannis is by far the BITW and I’m tired of the media acting like he’s not.

Kenny Atkinson has high praise for Giannis Antetokounmpo
It’s not like the Cavs did not try. They were very physical with Giannis and they also two of the best defensive frontcourt in the league with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen in the line-up.
Atkinson thinks did all that because he is back in the level that put him up at the top of best player convo in years back.
“I said this before. . . I know he’s always really great but I kind of feel like he’s on another level this year. That championship level,” the Cavs coach told reporters after the game.

Atkinson might be right as the Greek Freak did all that while going 14 out of 20 in the field.
Good thing for the Cavs, the Bucks were depleted as they did not have three key players in Kyle Kuzma, Kevin Porter Jr., and Cole Anthony who was the hero in their win over the Toronto Raptors. For the Cavs, they also did not have starting point guard Darius Garland.
