Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell may need to start taking even better care of his health if he hopes to create what could become one of the most tender and inspiring stories ever. The league has seen basketball players share the court with idols they once had brief encounters with as children.

Now, one young fan hopes to do the same with the Cavs All-Star.
Mitchell spent part of his pregame routine mingling with fans, and one father-and-son duo got extra lucky when they were spotted by Spida, who brought them courtside. The boy’s father was extremely grateful for the experience.
The child felt the same way.
“It felt amazing. I’ll always remember this time,” the young fan said.
When asked what message he had for the Cavs star, his answer drew an “oooh” from the reporter.
“I’d like to play him in 10 years.”

Donovan Mitchell responds to the challenge
The kid’s great day did not stop there. Not only the Cavs won a convincing one against the Washington Wizards with Mitchell putting up 30 points. The star also saw his last message.
“See you in a decade 😂🤞🏾,” he wrote in a post quote on X.
Fans gushed over Mitchell’s wholesome moment with the fan.
