Unrivaled got NBA fans curious with their new league format and Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown would love to experience what they are doing if possible.
The women’s basketball is league staged a 1-on-1 tournament and it happened to be in the same week with the NBA 2026 All-Star. The tournament features big names from the WNBA including Kelsey Plum, Paige Bueckers, Sonia Citron, Aliyah Boston, and Breanna Stewart.

Gray won the tournament to take home the $200,000 cash prize.
The NBA’s All-Star Games have been heavily criticized. Others think that the one they are about to have in Los Angeles will not be any different although international players already vowed that they are going to change its culture.
This is because of the lack of commitment from the league’s top players.
Even the past Slam Dunk Contest did not have big names.
Many think that the only way to solve this problem is to reinvent the ASG and introduce a new competition involving top players. With the success of Unrivaled’s 1-on-1 tournament, the NBA is being pressed to copy what the female pro-league.

Jaylen Brown is ready
Only a few players spoke about the Unrivaled 1-on-1 and Brown is one of those.
“I’m actually a big fan of the 1-on-1. . . I think Ball is Life has it as well,” he told reporters during the ASG press conference.
“I actually love watching. It reminds of the purity of the game. It’s just mano y mano, you got people on the court. You gotta play two sides. You are offensive player and the defensive player. So I think it’s gotta be great.”

He take it up a notch as he named players he would want to do it with.
“Some people that’s here this weekend I’d love to challenge. All of them, Luka, Shai, Brunson, Donovan. I challenge all them guys 1-on-1,” he continued.
