After voicing his opinions about former Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, retired NBA player Chandler Parsons sparked a debate. Parsons discussed Bryant on “Run It Back” on Tuesday, stating that he believes Kevin Durant is higher on the all-time list than the former Laker. He returned to the show on Thursday and presented a list of players he believes are superior to the legend.

Parsons stuck to his take about Durant being a better player than Bryant. This time, however, he clarified his take and that while the current Phoenix Suns star is a better player, the five-time champion had a better career.

“I think Kevin Durant’s a better player, I think Kobe Bryant had a better career,” Parsons clarified his take.

Their guest, Denver Nuggets center DeAndre Jordan, asked Parsons who his top three players of all time are.

“MJ and Bron. And I think Shaq is three of all time. Most people will say Kareem [Abdul-Jabbar] or Wilt [Chamberlain] or Bill [Russell], [Larry] Bird, Magic [Johnson]… I think it’s Shaq.

The 6-foot-9 former Dallas Mavericks forward mentioned a few names who he thinks are better than Bryant.

“Tim Duncan, [Nikola] Jokic, Steph [Curry], there’s players that you might rank ahead of Kobe.”

In his career, Bryant achieved incredible feats. He won the NBA title five times and was named the Finals MVP twice during that stretch. He was named the league MVP in 2008 and was an All-Star 18 times.

These are but a handful of the accomplishments Bryant made during his NBA career. Aside from the accolades, he inspired many to put in a lot of effort and provide their best effort.

During his time in the league, Kobe Bryant encouraged many to be the best version of themselves. CNN’s new documentary about the former Lakers star will look to capture his drive to be one of the game’s best players. The documentary, “Kobe: The Making of a Legend” will have three parts and will explore who he was as a player.

In CNN’s press release, the documentary will feature Bryant’s upbringing and how he harnessed his on-court skills.

“‘Kobe: The Making of a Legend’ traces the story of Kobe Bryant from his childhood in Italy to his athletic superstardom and provides an intimate look at his post-NBA aspirations as a storyteller and as a father,” read CNN’s press release. “Featuring personal interviews with Kobe’s former coaches, teammates and family friends, this illuminating series reveals the conflicts and the complications behind the man with the Black Mamba mentality.”
