Charlie Kirk is being heartbreakingly mourned by millions in the country after an unidentified shooter killed the political activist during an event at Utah Valley University. Many athletes have been reacting to Kirk’s murder, including WNBA star Sophie Cunningham’s sister, Lindsey Cunningham. Lindsey, who is pretty outspoken on matters related to the sporting world, shared two posts on her Instagram, calling out the sick mentality of the person who killed Kirk.
Kirk leaves behind a wife and two young children. Unfortunately, his wife and two kids were present at the university when the shooting took place. Kirk was shot through the neck when he was debating with a student and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Soon after, it was reported that the Turning Point USA founder had died as a result of the shooting.

“She lost her husband & those babies lost their father bc some POS (piece of s**t) had differing political views,” Lindsey Cunningham captioned one of her Instagram posts, sharing a picture of Charlie Kirk, his wife and their two children.
“emphasis on POS. sad. sick. outraged.” Cunningham captioned another Instagram post, with a picture of Kirk and his newborn baby.
Not only Lindsey Cunningham, but her sister, Indiana Fever forward Sophie Cunningham also reacted to Charlie Kirk’s death with a post of her own. Sophie responded to Riley Gaines’ post about the murder and reacted with “Prayers up”.
Charlie Kirk’s Killer May Be College-Aged
In other news, it looks like Charlie Kirk’s killer may be a college-aged person, according to recent findings. As per incoming police reports, the person may have been college-aged and therefore easily blended in with the rest of the students before he pulled off the attack on Kirk. The cops and other officials, who are in charge of the investigation of the murder, are using advanced technology on the video footage obtained from the event to identify the killer.

As of now, the FBI has managed to obtain the murder weapon, which is a powerful rifle. However, they are yet to identify the murderer but are slowly tracking the person down. Incidentally, Kirk himself was in favor of gun laws and has strongly supported the public’s right to own firearms.
Charlie Kirk was also a strong supporter of US President Donald Trump. The POTUS spoke at the 9/11 memorial about Kirk’s murder and announced that he will be awarding the late political activist the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
