Charlie Sheen recently appeared on the ‘All The Smoke’ podcast with Matt Barnes, where the actor spilled plenty of tea about his close friendship with Michael Jordan. Sheen and MJ managed to forge a friendship despite their career paths taking them in two different directions, with Sheen being an actor, and Jordan being a baller.
Sheen revealed that the first time he and MJ managed to get up close and personal was on ‘War of the Stars’, a reality TV show from the 80s. Sheen and his father managed to win against a blindfolded MJ in a free throw competition. Ever since they starred together in the show, the actor was fascinated with the hooper and managed to become a major fanboy.

“I got his number after that, and we stayed in touch. I would fly out to Bulls’ home games. So I was kind of stalking him as well, but yeah, then we worked together on a commercial campaign, we did Hanes, we sold underwear together. That was pretty cool.” Charlie Sheen said.

Charlie Sheen and Michael Jordan got to work together once again for their Hanes commercial, which was a delightful success. Unfortunately, the ad was soon removed after the actor was involved in a domestic violence dispute.
Charlie Sheen Still Feels Bad For Losing ‘Born On The Fourth Of July’ Role
Charlie Sheen had another explicit interview a few days ago with ‘In Depth With Graham Bensinger’ where he opened up on losing the lead role for ‘Born on the Fourth of July’ to Tom Cruise. Apparently Sheen was eager to do the role but was disappointed when his brother announced the news of him not getting the part.

Sheen later admitted he had not gotten over it and confronted the director Oliver Stone. Both the men were drunk, which gave them some guts for venting and Stone revealed that he did not give the part to Sheen because he felt the actor had lost interest in the role.
Everything turned out for the best since the role was definitely one of Tom Cruise’s best in his entire career. Even Sheen felt that Cruise should have won an Oscar award for the incredible performance he delivered. Still, it looks like Charlie Sheen is not over losing the role to Cruise and the injury is still fresh in mind.
