The Charlotte Hornets are headed towards another lackluster campaign, with a 4-14 record and a seven-game losing streak, but head coach Charles Lee sees a silver lining in his young standouts.

Lee likes what he sees from LaMelo Ball, Kon Knueppel, and Brandon Miller so far, who are among the Charlotte Hornets’ top scorers this season.
“That three-headed monster is going to be a staple for a really long time. All three of those guys have a very bright future and are also very good players right now,” Lee said of Ball, Knueppel, and Miller on FanDuel Sports Network.

Following their 129-101 loss against the New York Knicks in the NBA Cup group stage on Wednesday, the Charlotte Hornets will aim to return to winning ways when they continue their three-game homestand against the Chicago Bulls on Friday night.
Charlotte Hornets News: Veterans voice their concerns amid winless run
The calendar hasn’t even flipped to December, but the 2025-26 campaign is already slipping away from the Charlotte Hornets, and veterans Collin Sexton and Miles Bridges called for everyone to stay united.

“The season’s not over, but guys on this team don’t like losing,” Bridges said via Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer. “We’ve got to do something to change it. So, I’m not happy to be losing. I’d rather win. We’ve just got to do something to change it.”
“Like you always say, actions speak louder than words. And it’s time, it’s time for us to lock in and look ourselves in the mirror and (say), ‘How can I be better for the team, how can I get impact, meaning in which way?’ We’ve got to do it together. But it starts with looking at yourself in the mirror and how can I be better and understanding that it’s not going to be always good,” Sexton added.
