    Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets are praying for a healthy season from LaMelo Ball, who has been playing well in the past few games. Milesl Bridges showed his loyalty to the team that trusted him through thick and thin and will look to be the second source of scoring entering the new NBA season.

Bradon Miller had an impressive rookie season and his potential shows well in the past pre-season games. With Mark Wiliams sidelined for the start of the season, Nick Richards has been holding the fort. Tre Mann and Tijane Salaun also had been key contributors in the last preseason matchup between the Hornets and Knicks.

    Players to watch:

LaMelo Ball: 23.9 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 8.0 APG, 1.8 SPG

Mikal Bridges: 21.0 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 3.3 APG

Brandon Miller: 17.3 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 2.4 APG

    New York Knicks

The New York Knicks are very much excited about their team’s potential heading into the season, with Karl-Anthony Towns added to the big man rotation. Mikal Bridges adds more firepower, and both players already had a good effect on the spacing for the last pre-season matchups.

Fielding bench and role players in the last preseason matchup with the Hornets, Miles McBride along with Cameron Payne, Precious Achiuwa and Landry Shamat are all looking like players that would deepen the Coach Tom Thibodeau rotation.

    Players to Watch:

Jalen Brunson: 25.0 PPG, 9.7 RPG, 6.3 APG, 1.1 SPG

    Karl-Anthony Towns: 19.1 PPG, 9.0 RPG, 2.6 APG

OG Anunoby: 15.1 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 1.1 APG, 1.1 BPG

Charlotte Hornets Vs New York Knicks Summary and Prediction

This match is exciting since most players are already warmed up for the regular season. The Knicks are still favored to win because of their deep bench, while the Charlotte Hornets are looking to break in their new guns. The Knicks should still win this game, but expect the Hornets to keep it close. The scoring should be loose and the total should go over.

    Moneyline: Knicks -310

    Spread: Hornets +7.5

    Total: Over 220.0

    Score: 115-110, Knicks win.
