    Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets disappointed fans in the previous season, and finished with an overall 31-51, missing the playoffs for the eighth consecutive year. Charlotte struggled majorly in road games last season, with key players like LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward being unable to perform well as a result of injuries. The Charlotte Hornets are entering the regular season after losing 121-116 to the Indiana Pacers in the preseason finale.

    Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets had a pretty satisfactory experience in the previous season, and finished with an even 41-41 record. Perhaps last year was one of the best years in Houston’s history, with the team finishing as a non-losing unit. Under head coach Ime Udoka’s leadership, notable players like Jalen Green, Fred VanVleet and Amen Thompson were able to play to their best. The Houston Rockets finished their preseason with a 129-107 win against the Spurs.

    Players to watch:

Alperen Sengun: 21.1 PPG 9.3 RPG 5.0 APG 1.2 SPG
