What goes on in the basketball court stays there. That’s one thing about hoops and Chicago Bulls veteran Nikola Vucevic is going that route after being the first to confront Giannis Antetokounmpo for showing off when the game was basically over in favor of the Milwaukee Bucks.

The end of the Bucks-Bulls game got a little tensed when Antetokounmpo, who played his first game since December 3, decided to do a windmill dunk in the last three seconds when they were already up by 7 points. Ayo Dosunmu was seen on the bench acting astounded by the dunk.

Vucevic tried to talk to the Greek Freak about it but before anything was settled, the bench was already cleared. Antetokounmpo is seen saying “I don’t care” during their face to face talk.
The Bulls big man did not get what he want during that confrontation but he has mellowed down post-game. Instead of keeping the heated emotions, he just joked about it.

“Usually when the game is over, you just dribble the ball out. I assume Giannis was mad about that report that came out that the Bulls wouldn’t trade for him and he wanted to prove a point,” he said according to Bulls reporter KC Johnson.
Chicago Bulls guard thought it is disrespectful
NBA players for many times have been hating on what Giannis just did. There is an unspoken rule that when the game is over based on the deficit, even if there’s still time, the team about to win should just be noble and run out the clock.
Coby White is holding on to that.

“He shouldn’t have dunked the ball. It’s disrespectful to the game. I said, ‘Bro, you’re better than that.’ The game is over with. Why you gotta do that? It’s a respect thing,” he said after the game.

Bulls and the Bucks will meet two more times. First at the Fiserv Forum on February 3 and then at the United Center on March 1.
