Nikola Vucevic has heard the rumors about his potential departure from the Chicago Bulls, whether it is via trade or buyout, and the veteran center admitted he has grown accustomed to dealing with it for quite some time now.

However, Vucevic is confident that he will return to the Chicago Bulls this upcoming season after the assurance he received from the front office recently.
“A week ago (the interview was done August 4), the Bulls GM (Marc Eversley), who had called me after all the rumors, confirmed that nothing was true and that everything we had discussed after the season still stood,” Vucevic told Basket USA. “I already knew that, but it’s always nice when your GM calls to tell you.”

“There are always rumors,” he continued. “Most of them are false. It’s a bit of nonsense. For example, the buyout story was misunderstood in Europe: the journalist wrote that if there was no trade during the season, there might be a buyout option before the deadline. I know how the business works: in the last year of a contract, there’s always speculation. Since I can’t control it, I try not to stress over it.”
Chicago Bulls Rumors: Josh Giddey or Coby White could be traded, claims insider
Matt Moore of Action Network HQ recently reported that two rival Eastern Conference execs expect the Chicago Bulls to at least consider moving Josh Giddey or Coby White, depending on what happens in the next few weeks. The team is stuck in a restricted free agency dilemma with Giddey.

“This is outside speculative, but two different East personnel figures believe that the Bulls are unlikely to retain both Josh Giddey and Coby White,” Moore explained.
“If Giddey gets locked in, White could be moved. I’m skeptical of that idea because that sounds like a radical concept for the Bulls, and that doesn’t sound like them. Saving money sounds like them, but not like this,” he added.
