    On Friday, the Brooklyn Nets will play host to the Chicago Bulls for an exciting NBA battle at Barclays Center. The Nets are stuck at the 11th spot with a 2-3 record, while the Bulls sit at No. 3 in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls are holding a 3-2 record and are riding a two-game winning streak. Both teams are picking up the pace as the season continues. It’s a little too early to judge both teams based on the first five games.     The Chicago Bulls defeated the Orlando Magic in their last game with a 102-99 final score. It was a close game, but the Bulls prevailed at the end. Despite winning three games, the Bulls surrender more than they are scoring. On average, they are scoring 113.4 points per game and are surrendering 116.2.  Zach LaVine is the leading scorer for the team, with 23 points per game. Nikola Vucevic is the other notable player on the team alongside Coby White. Another disadvantage for the Bulls is that LaVine will be out due to his shoulder injury.

    The Brooklyn Nets are coming into this game after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies with a 119-106 final score. The Nets are slightly better with their offensive and defensive end. Brooklyn is averaging 118 points per game and is surrendering 117.6 in return. Cam Thomas is the leader in scoring, scoring 27.4 points per game. Thomas is followed by Dennis Schroder and Cameron Johnson. Brooklyn will have their home advantage as they take on the Bulls in this important game.
