Amazing what two weeks can do to an NBA team. Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and the rest of the Los Angeles Clippers were butt of jokes early December underperforming in the most intense way. They were 6-21 two weeks ago and involved in controversial decision concerning their legend.

They have now won six straight after winning over the Utah Jazz. This streak included victories over supposed title contenders like the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, and Detroit Pistons. Another big story concerning this run is Leonard going on a scoring tear.
Clippers fans are being more hopeful and believe their team have found their mojo and might breakthrough soon.
Leonard is acknowledging the changes happening around his team. However, he does not them to get ahead of themselves as he emphasized that there’s still a lot of work to do.
“We’re still trying to get better individually and as a unit. We might not be contenders but we just gotta keep fighting,” he said as quoted by SI’s Joey Linn.

When asked if Clippers are already a good team, he answered with a resounding no.
“We still got steps. Good teams are in the top-8 or above. We’re not there. We’re below .500, so we’re working our way up,” he continued.
Kawhi Leonard on what changed for them
Leonard preaches hard work but he acknowledged that things are looking good for them so far.
“We’re making 3s. That was a big thing. Our defense is more active. I feel like were getting out of transition a lot more,” he said.

The two-time MVP has been on a tear in the last six wherein he scored more than 30 points in five of those. He recorded his first ever 50-point game when he posted 55 in win over the Pistons.
In the last four before the six-game winning streak, he averaged just 21.7 points per game.
