However, UConn’s McNeeley sealed the victory by hitting two free throws with just seconds left on the clock.
UConn’s performance from beyond the arc was particularly impressive, sinking 11 of 24 three-point attempts compared to Butler’s 5 of 15. This shooting success played a significant role in their ability to fend off Butler’s advances throughout the game.
