Nikola Jokic is a menace on the court and so are his brothers on the court-side. The Denver Nuggets star’s older brothers have been sentenced to one-year probation by a Denver court in relation to an altercation they got involved in during the 2024 playoffs.

Strahinja and Nemanja are constant presence in The Joker’s game but in April of 2024 when they were playing the Los Angeles Lakers at the Ball Arena, their focus on the game was disturbed after they got into a physical altercation with another fan.

Strahinja was seen in various videos throwing a punch at a man named Nicholas Meyer.

Meyer sued the pair for third-degree assault citing it also affected his family.

“The assault shattered my sense of safety and control,” Meyer said as quoted by 9News.

“I became fearful of leaving my home, especially with my family. I worry constantly about retaliation, not just from the Jokic family, but from fans who might recognize me and act out violently.”

Only Strahinja was named in the lawsuit and he pleaded to one count of trespassing and one count of disorderly conduct. The court sentenced him to one year probation.

Nikola Jokic’s brothers’ history of misdemeanor

The two older Jokic will not anybody look down on them. However, it looks like they are also magnet to troubles.

In 2019, Strahinja was charged with second-degree assault, false imprisonment, and obstruction of phone service involving an unnamed woman. It was reported that he got into physical argument. with the woman and allegedly choked and pushed her.

The two brothers also got involved in verbal argument with the Morris brothers – Markief and Morris – when Nikola pushed the former, leaving him with a back injury.

The Nuggets star has been very clean since his arrival in the NBA. He does not get involve in any controversy. It is expected to look that way as he hasn’t made any comments about his brothers cases.
