Damian Lillard, who plays for the Milwaukee Bucks, was all in reaction for Hannah Hidalgo after the player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish almost single-handedly won against the UConn Huskies. Despite the Huskies being led by superstar Paige Bueckers, Hidalgo put up a whopping 29 points to lead the team to a 79-68 victory.

Hidalgo’s performance against the Huskies attracted the attention of many, including Lillard who publicly showed his appreciation for the 19-year-old legend. Not only Hidalgo, but Liatu King and Olivia Miles each scored 16 points for the team. On the other side, Bueckers managed to put up 25 points with three boards and a pair of helpers in the losing effort.

“Hannah Hidalgo really one of them” Lillard tweeted on X.

Notre Dame’s win against the UConn Huskies was simply sweet, as the Fighting Irish broke UConn’s long winning streak. While Paige Bueckers did her part in the team, other players did not bring much support and led to the downfall of the team. Hidalgo’s performance attracting the praise of Damian Lillard is understandable with the player putting up 24.6 points per game, with 6.8 rebounds in every matchup with 3.3 helpers in each clash.

Damian Lillard Contributes Heavily To Milwaukee’s Win Against Orlando Magic

Recently, the Milwaukee Bucks played the Orlando Magic in the quarter-final of the Emirates Cup. The Bucks managed to win the game with a final score of 114-10. Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo managed to lead the team with 37 points, grabbing seven rebounds and a single helper, while Damian Lillard managed to impress with 28 points, along with a couple of boards.

Damian Lillard also assisted nine times, to lead the Bucks in this category. Meanwhile, Bobby Portis Jr. managed to put up 22 points, with ten boards, the highest for the team against the Magic. Despite being one of the senior players in the Milwaukee Bucks squad, Lillard has still managed to impress fans and critics.

However, his performance seems to have slightly dipped this season. This season, Damian Lillard has managed to average 25.8 points in every matchup, with 4.4 rebounds per clash and 7.6 helpers in each game played. Among the last few games, Damian Lillard grabbed his highest score of the season, putting up 40 points in the game against the Boston Celtics. Despite Lillard putting up an impressive performance, the Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Celtics with a final score of 111-105.
