Former Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins’ second stint in Puerto Rico for the club Guaynabo Mets ended in the most chaotic way after he confronted a disrespectful fan on the court. His contract was terminated shortly after, leaving him without a team in the past months.

The incident occurred on June 10 during game against the Bayamon Vaqueros. A fan was throwing insults at players, which was a common thing in live sports. The former Sacramento Kings star appeared to have shrugged off the trash talk as he was already heading to the dug out.

But then another fan threw beer at him while he was on his way to the tunnel, causing him go acting like Hulk, trying to get back at that fan. Luckily for that heckler, Cousins was restrained and he did not receive any beating from 6’11 power forward.

Guaynabo terminated his contract a day after.

“As an organization, we strongly condemn any form of violence or provocation, whether on or off the field,” the team said in a statement.

“Safety, respect, and sportsmanship are non-negotiable values for this franchise.”

Cousins last played in the NBA in 2022 through the Denver Nuggets.

DeMarcus Cousins finds way back in Mongolia
