Trinity Rodman has been showing up at Wimbledon to support her boyfriend, tennis star Ben Shelton—but apparently, some people can’t stop bringing up her dad, Dennis Rodman. And she’s had enough.
After Shelton’s win over Lorenzo Sonego on Monday, Trinity posted a few photos on Instagram, celebrating his big day. But she also used the moment to shut down the noise. In her IG Story, she called out those who keep dragging her dad into conversations where, frankly, he doesn’t belong.
She made it clear—Dennis Rodman hasn’t really been part of her life, and the attention should be on Shelton, not her father.
Her mom, Michelle Moyer (Dennis’ ex-wife), stood by her, sharing the post and writing:
“TRINITY… nothing but class 🙏 Couldn’t agree with you more ♥️”

Michelle raised Trinity after filing for divorce back in 2004. Even though they stayed legally married for a few more years, they eventually split for good in 2012.
“She’s my role model”: Trinity Rodman salutes Dennis Rodman’s ex-wife for being her number one supporter
Though Trinity’s athletic genes may come from her father, Chicago Bulls legend, Dennis Rodman, her praise has always gone to her mom. She’s talked about how Michelle has been her everything—coach, best friend, and biggest fan.

In a 2021 interview with The Guardian, Trinity said:
“Having a dad like I do, no one asks about my mom because she’s obviously not an NBA star, but I just want people to know that my mom’s been my support system in everything in life and she’s my best friend and my rock.”
She added, “Even though she wasn’t in the NBA, she has an extremely competitive and driven mindset, and she’s an extremely strong woman. She’s my role model.”

Dennis Rodman has publicly admitted to the rocky relationship with his daughter. Still, Trinity is moving forward, focusing on her own life, her own career, and supporting the people who’ve supported her, especially on the biggest stages.
