[WATCH] Dennis Schroder Gets 3-Game Suspension for Trying to Do an ‘Isaiah Stewart’ After Frustrating Loss to Lakers

What happens in the court should stay in the court but Dennis Schroder seems to have forgotten that and now, the Sacramento Kings guard will miss three games.

Shams Charania reported that Schroder has been suspended three games for instigating a fight with a Los Angeles Lakers player after their team’s loss last December 28. What he did is similar to what Detroit Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart did back in 2024 when he punched Drew Eubanks, then with the Phoenix Suns in the parking lot.

The NBA has suspended Sacramento Kings guard Dennis Schroder for three games for confronting and attempting to strike another player 40 minutes after Kings’ loss to the Lakers in Los Angeles on Dec. 28.

The difference, however, is that Stewart landed a punch on the big man.

For the case of Schroder, who is a former Laker, looks like it was just him instigating one. He got the same number of suspension.

Schroder’s absence will be huge for the Kings who are already the worst team in the league. He will miss the games against the desperate Houston Rockets, the rematch with the Lakers, and the New York Knicks.

    Who did Dennis Schroder confront?

Charania did not name who the player he confronted but it is obvious who was it. Another insider, Chris Haynes, validated the speculations.

Lakers star Luka Dončić was the player Kings guard Dennis Schröder sought out in the hallway for a confrontation following a Dec. 28 contest, league sources tell @NBAonPrime, @NBATV. Schröder will begin serving 3-game suspension tomorrow.

Schroder and Doncic were going at it the whole game and the latter probably won the trash talking.
