Aaron Gordon has cemented himself as the Denver Nuggets’ starting power forward over the past few years because of his athleticism and elite finishing, but that’s not all there is to his game.

In case you haven’t noticed, the 30-year-old forward drastically improved his three-point shot, shooting a career-high 43.6 percent in his attempts last season. Gordon recently drew praise from Denver Nuggets head coach David Adelman by comparing him to Jason Kidd.
“One guy that stands out to me is Jason Kidd. He came into the league as a triple-double machine who played in the paint, and ends his career, I believe, top five in three-point makes. That’s the thing with Aaron. We see the dunks and the explosion, but there’s a long game to this,” Adelman stated about Gordon via Darren McKee of Altitude Sports Radio 92.5.

“If he wants to play for a long time, he’s got to be able to shoot the ball. Right now, it’s just so comfortable when he lets it go. He feels good about it… It’s at a high level right now,” he concluded.
Denver Nuggets News: Jamal Murray chimes in on the team’s progress in preseason
The Denver Nuggets have won their last three preseason games after dropping their first against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Jamal Murray praised the team’s improving chemistry in the past few days.

“Yeah, I could make some more shots, but I feel pretty good. I’m happy with the team and where we’re at,” Murray said via Guerilla Sports. “We’re gelling really well, we’re playing different lineups, and guys are getting used to each other. So, I think we’re on the right track.”
“When you have so many different talented players that are really good guys, and you’ve got to make an effort to really get to know them. It’s fun,” he continued. “So, just the team dinners, the travelling, all of that stuff, it’s kind of new for everybody; these relationships, all of these convos. It’s good talking to these guys.”
