Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon recently declared teammate Nikola Jokic as one of the greatest players of all time during a recent episode of ESPN’s NBA Today.

In his conversation with Malika Andrews, Gordon dished on his relationship with Jokic. He said that it’s an “amazing experience” to play alongside the Denver Nuggets’ franchise player over the past few years.
“He’s amazing, you know, it is an experience, you know, to get to play around one of the best players, if not the best player of all time, you know,” Gordon said. “So the gravity that he has, you got shown at the beginning of the video of me catching that tip dunk, but it was the gravity that Joker has. You know, he’s shooting a one-legged fadeaway runner. And everybody in the gym thinks that’s going in, you know what I mean? And I think it’s going in.”

“I’m just in my spot trying to do what I do, be in the right place at the right time, but he makes it click. And I think we have a great understanding with each other on and off the basketball floor, and so you guys are going to see that flourish,” he added.

In the same interview, Aaron Gordon expressed his satisfaction with the Denver Nuggets’ roster moves this offseason, which include the additions of Bruce Brown, Cameron Johnson, Jonas Valanciunas, and Tim Hardaway Jr.

“Brucey B is back. Uh-oh. Might be problems for y’all, Brucey B is back… That’s a squad, especially with Big Val too. Big Val is gonna hold that down. That’s a boy. We got a squad,” Gordon said.
The Denver Nuggets plan to make another deep run in the playoffs this year. After winning their first Larry O’Brien trophy in 2023, they have exited from the second round in back-to-back seasons.
