The Denver Nuggets have one of the best star trios in the NBA. Led by Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets have been incredibly competitive with the three star players that they have. Along with Jokic are Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray. The team’s Big 3 is also one of the reasons why the Nuggets won the championship in 2023, with the way they developed an unbreakable chemistry.
Jokic is the only player who has been in at least one All-Star game. However, that doesn’t mean the other two players don’t have anything to offer. Murray has played with the Serbian big man since the 2016-17 season. Playing together for so long, the two can read each other’s movements on the floor.
Gordon’s chemistry with Jokic, on the other hand, has been nothing but seamless. Given that the three-time MVP is a player who thrives in moving the basketball, it’s expected that he fits well with the high-flying power forward.

According to Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz, the Denver Nuggets’ trio is the second-best across the association.
“Only one member of the Denver Nuggets’ Big 3 has ever been named to an All-Star team, which speaks more to the greatness of Nikola Jokić than anything,” Swartz wrote. “With a sparkling net rating and a championship together, however, the Nuggets still have one of the best trios in the entire NBA.”
“This Big 3 is battle-tested, possesses the best player in the world and has blended perfectly well together, even if two members don’t have the individual accolades of some other players on this list.”
The only trio that’s better than them is the Oklahoma City Thunder’s.
Denver Nuggets’ newest forward is grateful that he doesn’t have to face Nikola Jokic anymore

Having to face Nikola Jokic is a problem. He’s arguably the best player in the league and is a problem for most NBA defenses. The newest member of the Denver Nuggets, Cam Johnson, talked about his excitement about playing with the seven-time All-Star.
“Honestly a big part of it is not having to play against him no more cause he’s a problem. He’s a problem, that’s it. Period,” Johnson said.
“He can pass, he can rebound, he can score, you don’t know what you’re going to get on any given day like what mode he’s in. It’s an uncanny ability he has, the spatial awareness, just how he feels the game, how he understands the game.”
The Nuggets acquired Johnson when they traded Michael Porter Jr. and a future draft pick to the Brooklyn Nets.
