The Denver Nuggets improved to 5-0 at home this season following a 129-104 blowout win over the undermanned Golden State Warriors on Friday, as Nikola Jokic led the way once again.

The three-time league MVP had 26 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists on 12-for-15 shooting from the field in 28 minutes of action. During his postgame interview on Prime, the Denver Nuggets center poked fun at former Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem when he was asked to describe Aaron Gordon’s importance to the team.
“Can you just talk about the luxury of having a guy like Aaron Gordon as a great 3rd option, and just plays within the system, but he’s always impacting the game?” Haslem asked Jokic.

“I bet you remember in the Finals… He knows where his points are. He’s really using his dominance on the smaller guys. On the defensive end, he’s literally guarding every player, I think. And I think we have a luxury for having him on the team,” Jokic quipped.
Denver Nuggets News: Tim Hardaway Jr. receives plaudits for excelling in his current role
The Denver Nuggets are getting exactly what they wanted from Tim Hardaway Jr. so far this season, which was to be a spark off the bench. The 33-year-old sharpshooter has been a double-digit scorer in five of his eight games with Denver.

“He’s such a weapon, and he can get his shot off so easily and quickly,” coach David Adelman said of Hardaway via The Denver Post. “It’s a big deal. You know, a lot of teams have the athleticism these days, Miami included. But a guy that releases the ball that quickly and gets it off, it’s a big deal. And not to mention, he just really knows how to play. Tim fits right in.”
After dropping 18 points against the Miami Heat on Wednesday, Hardaway had a slightly muted performance against the Golden State Warriors, registering seven points and three rebounds on 2-for-5 shooting in 19 minutes of action.
