The Detroit Pistons secured their fifth victory in their last six, following a 114-106 win over the Memphis Grizzlies yesterday, with Cade Cunningham leading the way as usual.

Cunningham had a game-high 33 points to go along with five rebounds and eight assists on 12-for-20 shooting from the field. He took over for the Detroit Pistons in the final period with some crucial baskets when the Memphis Grizzlies were making a late run.
“He’s a bad man, and that’s it,” Detroit Pistons head coach JB Bickerstaff said of Cunningham via Detroit Free Press’ Omari Sankofa II. “When it’s a winning team, you’ve gotta have a guy like that on your team.

“We are extremely fortunate to have him because there’s not a play he can’t make, and there’s the courage in his bones to take those shots and make those shots. Nineteen points in a quarter to close the game out for us separated the game for us down the stretch,” he added.
Detroit Pistons News: Isaiah Stewart receives huge shoutout after double-double performance
Isaiah Stewart also played a massive role in yesterday’s victory, as he put up 26 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, and four blocks on 9-for-18 shooting from the field for the Detroit Pistons.

It was his second game this season with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks, which he previously achieved on opening night against the Chicago Bulls.
“It’s his heart. It’s his courage. It’s his determination. It’s his grit. It’s his love of the Detroit Pistons, the city of Detroit,” Bickerstaff said of Stewart. “He plays for them, he plays for his teammates, and he was undeniable tonight.”
