Despite coming off a career year with the Detroit Pistons, Malik Beasley remains one of the most notable names in free agency because he’s under federal investigation for potential gambling-related activities.

The former Sixth Man of the Year candidate recently broke his silence on his ordeal by posting a video of his soliloquy via his Snapchat account.
“I feel like people turned their backs on me,” Beasley stated via Pistons Talk. “Low-key, I mean, like, people were saying some crazy things in the media. If you go on my Instagram, you’ll see the craziest s**t. You know, people judge me. Have I made mistakes in my life? Yes. Am I proud of those mistakes? No.”

“I’ll tell you one thing, I got a chip on my shoulder. I’m ready to destroy anybody in front of me, I’m ready to prove again that I belong in this league,” he concluded.
Detroit Pistons News: Malik Beasley is evicted and sued due to unpaid rent
Former Detroit Pistons guard Malik Beasley got into more trouble, as he was evicted from his downtown apartment on Wednesday for unpaid rent.

“Beasley, 28, has been sued twice by the landlord this year for failing to pay a collective $21,500 in rent. He is a free agent since the Pistons pulled back on a three-year, $42 million offer after news emerged about the FBI investigation,” Robert Snell of The Detroit News reported.
“Beasley failed to respond to the second lawsuit that accused him of failing to pay $7,355, so a default judgment was filed against him on Wednesday. The case is pending in front of 36th District Judge Andrea Bradley-Baskin, who is the target of a separate FBI investigation involving bribery and fraud,” he added.
