There are only a few NBA players who does not like being friendly with their peers and many welcome it. Add Dillon Brooks of the Phoenix Suns to that list.

Many people accuse modern day basketball soft of getting softer because there’s not much rivalry anymore and the players have grown friends. Devin Booker thinks Brooks is changing that perception.

The 4-time All-Star welcomes his teammates antics and rivalry with Lebron James even if it led to Brooks’ ejection with under 13 seconds to go in a really tight game.

Devin Booker on the back and forth between Dillon Brooks and LeBron James during Suns-Lakers last night:

“There’s history there. I mean, I love to see it. People always say everything’s too friendly in the NBA, and then Dillon comes around and now it’s too much… I’d rather have… pic.twitter.com/cOxprkCzrE

Lebron and Brooks bumped each other many times while also exchanging some spicy words.

What LeBron James Really Said To Dillon Brooks👀:

“Don’t throw the f*cking ball at me! Chill the f*ck out with that bullsh*t”

Then, after Brooks committed his 5th foul, he went at LeBron:

    “You’re flopping… flopping a** n****”

The Suns played the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday in a game that saw multiple technical fouls and play reviews. Even Grayson Allen thinks the game saw many too many replays.

“I don’t know if I’ve played in a game that had so many replays. Felt like we were going to the monitor a lot.”

Grayson Allen after Suns 116-114 loss to Lakers.

Dillon Brooks’ ejection is correct call

Brooks’ was at the wrong end of his skirmishes with Lebron. It got him ejected right after he hit a 3-point shot that gave his team the lead.

His teammates, coach, and other NBA fans thought that call should have not been made because it was already crunch time. However, NBA officials stood by their call based on the report they made after the game.

The NBA L2M report shows two incorrect calls at the end of the controversial Lakers-Suns game:

    1) Dillon Brooks should’ve been called for an offensive foul for veering into Marcus Smart and cutting him off with 1:38 left.

    2) Luka Doncic should’ve been called for an offensive…

Fans will see more of this rivalry as the Suns and Lakers will play each other three more times, starting with a December 23 game at the PHX Arena.
