Devin Booker rejects allegations after many people believed him to have made scornful remarks about Los Angeles Lakers’ Bronny James’ failed free throw attempt during their match. The indictments stem from a user on X posting a video that seemingly caught Booker saying something about James, a clip deemed “fake” by the Phoenix Suns guard.

The clip showed James missing a free throw and immediately switching to Devin Booker, who was talking to his Suns teammates. However, the X user perceived it as the Suns’ veteran talking trash about the Lakers’ rookie, saying “he’s just no good.” The clip became trending, reaching 10.9 million views and more than 50k likes, incredibly alarming Booker.

Booker reposted the clip, denying the allegations. He specifically called the users who believed it, saying: “50k of yall need help.”

The match featured an intense showdown between Devin Booker’s Suns and James’ Lakers. Booker led his team with 22 points, two assists, and three rebounds. However, his efforts were futile as his team failed to contain the heated plays of their opponents led by Anthony Davis and Dalton Knecht, who scored 70 points and 17 rebounds combined.

Overall, the Suns are 3-2 in this year’s preseason. They would resume their match on October 24 against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Devin Booker praises Lakers rookie after fierce match

Pheonix Suns star Devin Booker praises the Los Angeles Lakers rookie Dalton Knecht after their previous showdown. Booker, who saw his team emerge victorious in their first match against the Lakers this preseason, complimented the efforts of Knecht to defeat the Suns in their rematch.

Knecht’s delivery of 35 points was one of the significant factors in his team’s overtime victory, 128-122, against the Suns. In the post-game interview, Devin Booker was surprised to see the Lakers rookie furnish.

    “Unbelievable,” Booker said to Knecht

Booker added that he had begun showing interest in the former Tennessee Volunteer.

“You know he can shoot the peel off the ball and that opens up everything else for him. People will have to crowd him, easier to drive. I didn’t know much about him until Palm Springs, but definitely someone that I have my eye on,” the Suns star added.

The Suns and the Lakers would clash two times this October, on the 26th and 29th, respectively, meaning that it would not be too long for Devin Booker to face against Knecht. For now, he would have to prepare to confront the talented rookie and retake their wins in their following showdowns.
