US President Donald Trump did not get any support from Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, who opened up about attending an anti-Trump “no Kings” rally.
In a recent interview, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr detailed his experience in going to a “No Kings” rally, which was organized i protest of the current Donald Trump administration.

“It was a love fest,” Kerr said. “Everyone I saw 100% loves their country. And as our country’s custom, you don’t agree with what the government’s doing, then you peacefully protest, and that’s how it should be.”
Warriors’ Steve Kerr attended the No Kings protest in San Francisco’s Embarcadero and talked about the experience:

Kerr went on to describe the protest as “a beautiful day,” and highlighted the importance of being able to have the people’s voice heard.
“We are the democracy, and we the people, and it’s been proven that there’s a lot of sway out there right now, whether it’s from the media or political pressure, and so we have to be the ones who can push things forward and way to do that it to peacefully protest, make your voice heard that’s what I saw yesterday.”
Coined the “No Kings” protest, this action is a reaction to the authoritarian tendencies that citizens say the current regime of President Donald Trump exercises.
The protests took off on October 18, 2025, with over 2,500 events occurring in the United States, from New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. Protestors had signs saying “No throne. No king,” and focused on highlighting peaceful, civic engagement and the preservation of First Amendment rights.
Donald Trump Criticized for Destroying Part of White House
President Donald Trump has sparked furious backlash after starting the demolition of a historic part of the White House for a new ballroom. Reports indicate the demolition houses a wing of offices and ceremonial spaces from the early 20th century.

The project was initially announced earlier in June, which was only part of the multiple renovations to the White House. Trump also previously pledged to “not interfere” with the structure of the Rose Garden.
“It’ll be near it, but not touching it, and pays total respect to the existing building, which I’m the biggest fan of,” Trump said previously. “It’s my favorite. It’s my favorite place. I love it.”
Trump supporters argued that the new ballroom will provide a fresh space for state dinners and diplomatic events, part of his agenda to update the executive mansion.
Critics, however, asked whether the renovation is warranted and whether the timing is appropriate, especially given the emotional nature of the demolished space. Some people even suggested that the action reflects Trump’s project to change presidential culture and style to fit his tastes.

The demolition project was reportedly funded by Donald Trump himself and private donors.
