Donovan Mitchell vowed that that the Cleveland Cavaliers will comeback stronger after last playoff’s early exit. Critics agreed. They are supposed to be the best team in the Eastern Conference. However, it does not seem like it this November as they continue to fall in the standings. They even received the reputation of lacking toughness from some media members.

Their latest loss was at the hands of the Boston Celtics and they will have their back to back with the Indiana Pacers. They also lost to the Atlanta Hawks on Friday and then the Toronto Raptors on Monday. These are the teams who unlike them, are not supposed to compete this season.
The latest defeat should wake something up from the Cavs as Mitchell seems to feel frustrated and goes against his usual tradition of talking to media.
Donovan Mitchell did not speak to reporters following Cleveland’s loss. That’s rare.
As Jaylon Tyson did interviews, Mitchell sat in his corner locker, either scrolling through his phone or staring ahead.

Mitchell is known as one of the most media-friendly personalities, sharing stories about his game and other wholesome details. He finished the game with 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists.
The Cavaliers succeeded to limit Jaylen Brown to 19 points but Peyton Pritchard surprised them by scoring his season high 42 points.

Fans have wild thoughts about this Donovan Mitchell
Mitchell transferred to the Cavs as he attempts to win his first ever title which he did not get with the Utah Jazz. However, they always fail in the playoffs.
It’s a new territory for him to struggle early this season and people are already overreading his decision to not do a press conference.
Oh god the trade rumors are about to start

He was excited to take that game winning 3 and Kenny said he’s inbounding the ball to Mobley instead. He’s pissed and rightfully so.

This organization has failed him. Time to make some significant roster changes.

It’s early into the season but they can still fix it. If Mitchell did not speak, his teammate did. Jaylon Tyson said it is about the commitment and sense of urgency.
“We’re not hungry enough,” he said. “We’re in cruise control.”
“We’ve got dudes, 1-15. … I’d put our starting five up against anybody’s. … We’re one of the most talented teams in the NBA. Talent alone doesn’t win championships.”
Things will get a little challenging for the Cavs this week as after the Pacers, they will then have three games in four days.
