Draymond Green’s wife, Hazel Renee, indicated her chosen candidate for the upcoming US Elections. Renee seemingly decided to vote for Kamala Harris, one of the most prominent presidential candidates.

The elections, occurring tomorrow, November 5, feature two candidates vying to be successors of the nation’s incumbent president: Harris from the Democratic Party and Donald Trump from the Republican Party.

In her Instagram story, Renee shared a photo of a note of her “#BathroomStallChronicles,” captioning: “No one knows who you voted for. Vote Harris! For women’s rights, health and freedom.“

Draymond Green had previously supported Harris in an episode of his “Draymond Green Show.” He has yet to delve into the topic ever since.

“Sending all my love and support to our VP, Kamala Harris. Good luck in your race. It’s the race of a lifetime. You achieved it, now go to be great. Be great on the campaign trail, be great in the debates, be great in your race to history,” Green said.

Additionally, Green’s teammate at the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry, and their head coach, Steve Kerr, endorsed Harris. Meanwhile, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James also shared support.

The NBA wouldn’t play any games during Election Day, a practice implemented since the 2020 election. They also advocate and encourage people to exercise their right to vote through ads and even player shirts.

Draymond Green has candid reaction over former teammate

Despite lingering animosities, Draymond Green gave a non-hostile and honest message about Jordan Poole. The two notably have a heated relationship after Green punched Poole during their dynamic at the Golden State Warriors. Since the latter’s departure, the players continue to exchange taunts and reignite their beef on the court.

However, Draymond Green shared a message with his former teammate during the postgame interview of the Warriors’ match against Poole’s Washington Wizards.

“He’s playing a lot better. His shot selection… you come to a new situation, as a competitor you want to show everything. I think last year he was pressing. He wanted it so bad. He’s settling in. Last year were bad shots but he wanted it so bad,” Green said.

Poole remains close to his former teammates at the Warriors, and he even had moments with Stephen Curry after the game.

Green averages 7.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists this season. He and the Warriors are at the 6-1 standing after their 125-112 victory against the Wizards. They would face the incumbent NBA champions, Boston Celtics, on November 7, vying to continue their winning streak.
