Golden State Warriors veteran star Draymond Green was congratulated by his wife, Hazel Renee, as he became part of the elite group of NBA players in playoff history.
In an Instagram story, Hazel Renee conveyed her admiration and pride for her husband, Draymond Green. Green has secured one of only two positions in an exclusive group of players in NBA playoff history. Alongside Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, Green is one of only two players in NBA playoff history to rank among the top 20 in assists, steals, and blocks.

“Season 14 Loading Big Money,” Renee wrote in the story she shared.
The Warriors’ Instagram post underscored the exceptional nature of such pervasive athletic prowess on the grandest stage. This historic accomplishment solidifies their standing as the league’s two most adaptable postseason contributors, a versatility for which both athletes have been acknowledged since the nascent stages of their careers.
LeBron James leads all-time playoff stat in assists (2,095 assists, second all-time), steals (493 steals, first all-time), and blocks (284 blocks, ninth all-time), showing his vantage point on the court and ability to play defense. In comparison, Draymond Green can be found with 1,020 assists (14th), 257 steals (18th), and 225 blocks (tied for 17th) as a playmaker from the forwards position while being a defensive centerpiece for Golden State’s titles.
Draymond Green Blames Jimmy Butler for Heat’s Recent Trade Decisions
Warriors veteran Draymond Green surprisingly highlighted Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler on Instagram after the Heat’s recent trade. Miami sent forward Haywood Highsmith and a 2032 second-round pick to the Brooklyn Nets, receiving a protected 2026 second-round selection in return.
Green reposted ESPN’s Shams Charania report in his Instagram story, with the cheeky caption “Look what you’ve done Jimbo,” tagging Butler and laying the blame for the move squarely at his feet.

With the shade in the caption, Green suggested that Butler’s performance or influence played a role in Miami’s decision to part ways with Highsmith. Observers noted that Green’s comment carried the dual weight of locker-room banter and a pointed critique of Butler’s impact on Heat roster decisions.
The said trade has the Miami Heat send forward Haywood Highsmith and a 2032 second-round pick to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for a top-55 protected 2026 second-round selection, a transaction designed chiefly to clear cap space and drop below the luxury-tax threshold.
As for the Warriors, the Bay Area team has not made any trade moves this offseason, which means that veterans like Draymond Green and Steph Curry would have to work on strengthening the core they already have.
