Remember when Draymond Green called out the Oklahoma City Thunder players for their rowdy courtside interviews whenever they win? Here’s what he said:
“The one thing I see about the OKC team that’s alarming to me is their postgame,” he said early in November 2024.

“Seven guys in the interview. There’s a certain seriousness it takes to win in this league. And there’s a certain fear you have to instill in teams in order to win. I just don’t know if they’re instilling that fear in teams with all the bromance and stuff after the game.”
OKC players defended their antics and said that it manifests how they are united as a team.
“It just shows how close this organization is, how much they care for one another, and how much they love one another,” one player said. “So, to me, I think it’s awesome. I love being a part of it.”

Draymond Green makes u-turn
This has to be brought up not only because this camaraderie brought OKC their first ever title but because the Golden State Warriors forward now thinks that the Thunder players are playing well because they like each other.
The two teams met on Tuesday and the Thunder dominated the Warriors. When asked about OKC, Green thought they are able to create magic because of them gelling well.

Draymond on the Thunder:
“You have to like each other which you can tell they love each other which leads to all the magic, you have to understand roles which they definitely understand their roles. They got their top dog, they got their No. 2, everybody come in and they know… pic.twitter.com/esSnJJc6jT

Green’s comments came as he also pointed out how his own teammates have personal agenda and that’s what’s hindering them as they now fall to 6-6.
Draymond: “I think everyone has a personal agenda in this league but you have to make the personal agenda work in the team confines. And if it doesn’t work then you kinda gotta get rid of your agenda or eventually the agenda is the cause of someone getting rid of you” pic.twitter.com/c5rdsxozvu
