Dwyane Wade recently posted a picture of himself, his daughter Kaavia, and Udonis Haslem. Haslem, who is Kaavia’s god-father, can be seen kissing her on one cheek, while Wade does the same on the other side. Kaavia, who is six years old, cannot help but grin ear-to-ear with the perhaps two most important men in her life right now.
Wade and Haslem became more than just teammates during their time with the Miami Heat. While Wade has officially retired from the sport, Haslem has continued to keep in touch with basketball and the Heat and is currently the vice president of basketball development for Miami.
“God dad & Dad 🖤,” Dwyane Wade captioned the adorable Instagram post.
Kaavia is the daughter of Dwyane Wade and actress Gabrielle Union and was born in 2018 via surrogate. She is not only popular as the daughter of two highly popular celebrities, but also brags more than 1.8 million followers on her social media account.
Apart from Kaavia, Dwyane Wade has four other children. His first son, Zaire, was born to him with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches, before his daughter Zaya Wade. Wade also has a son, Xavier Wade, with Aja Metoyer, who was born in 2013. Dwyane Wade also has legal custody of his nephew, Dahveon Morris.
