Is Miami Heat culture getting obsolete? That’s hard to say right now since the season is still young. But when a franchise legend says he is not seeing it, there must really be something wrong.
One part of Heat culture is resiliency and to team legend Dwyane Wade, he did not see it from the current squad based on the way they played in the Final Four of the NBA Cup. They lost to the Orlando Magic last week. It was not just a random defeat. It reflected their current form as they fell to a fight straight loss.
Wade said he did not feel the effort from the players in that game.
“I was pissed off watching the effort that night, I didn’t like it,” Wade said in his own show WY Network.
“I’m yelling at the TV ‘Y’ALL DON’T WANT TO GO TO VEGAS?’ I need better effort. I’m used to Miami Heat team having resilience, that’s who we are. We’re resilient. If me and [Udonis Haslem] were together we would’ve tore some [expletive] up.”

Dwyane Wade wants to talk down Miami Heat
The Heat need to figure things out soon before they full on collapse.
Bam Adebayo and Norman Powell agree that the problem is on their defense.
That’s what Wade sees, too. He said he is ready to make Heat squad hear it from him. However, the players are not ready for his talk.
“I need to see more effort from the defensive end of the floor. They don’t lose games offensively,” he continued.
“They score the basketball really well, actually. They’re number one in scoring the basketball in first six seconds of the shot clock.”

The Heat have tough assignments ahead while they deal with injuries to Nikola Jovic and Tyler Herro. Their next assignment are the Brooklyn Nets before dealing with the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and the Toronto Raptors.
